Adding Tomini Tang?

Hey guys, yesterday I saw a an amazing tomini tang at the LFS, could I add it to my 90g? The 90g currently has a yellow tang in it (been there for 2 months) also my melanurus had ripped the tangs fins.

The melanurus finally stopped picking on my tang and it's fins are finally starting to regrow which is great.

The tomini I am looking at would be bigger than the tang, so I am worried since the tang hasn't fully recovered yet, if I add the tomini it might go after the tang

Should I add it? Also do rabbitfish and tangs fight?

I usually get most of my questions answered when it comes to tank size recommendations for fish from liveaquaria. They say that the Tomini can go in a 70 gallon minimum!
I always worry when adding anything to an established tank. I usually fear the existing fish attacking the new tank mate. Some fish can be very territorial.
I personally have no experience with the combining of those two types of fish but I think I have seen something on this topic before on here.

I think two tangs in a 90 is one tang too many, most likely the yellow is going to harass the Tomini to a point of death. It could work as no two fish are the same, but the long term odds are low.

my friend has a tomini and a purple tang in a 90 has had them in it for 5 years. but he has about 150 lbs on rock in the tank so plenty of hiding spots and algae for them to eat. so i seen 2 tangs in a 90 work for many years. he recently added a hippo tang (i dont agree with that purchase) and i will say the tomini is at the end of the pecking order. it goes hippo , purple, tomini .

So I guess maybe a dwarf angel, or maybe a rabbit fish?

I have a tomini in a 75. it's small and works the rocks and glass a lot. I have other small tangs in the tank but he's the only one I'll keep long term.

Tomini can be aggressive, and Yellows sure can be as well. I don't think I'd add another tang to a tank where another tang is already stressed.
