Osmolator not turning

More and more I have noticed that when the water level in my sump drops, my osomlator is not turning on and replacing evaped water. Do I need to be cleaning the sensor to ensure it's reliability and if so, what's the best method to do this?

Thanks!

Yes, try soaking the sensor in vinegar for a few hours- do not scrub it, scratches will ruin it.

Thanks Roger, I will do that this weekend, and thanks for warning me about scratching the sensor!
