RKL need to connect 2nd PC4 to operate Main DT retro lights

Hello,
I have been using RKL since I got it used in 2013. I never updated firmware since then , it works just fine!

I have the headunit, connected to a PC4 via cable. PC4 operates 4 things dosers, fuge lights...etc.

Can I add another PC4 like this? I am getting it used here in RC.

http://www.digitalaquatics.com/saltwater/modules/pc4/

Do I just need one 6ft bus cable to daisy-chain from the current PC4 to new PC4? How to connect this ?! Can I control 8 outlets via the current headunit?
Will I see 4 extra channels ( ie 8 total)?...

Pls advise
thx..Kris

With RKL you only can have 4 modules connected to head unit. So as long as you don't have all 4 you can connect another pc4. If you have 4 and trying to connect pc4 you will have to disconnect something

Wow I didn't know this.

So why is there provision to connect daisy chain style from pc4 to another?

So I can never connect 2 main lights,2 fuge light,2 dosers each on its separate timer ie 6 of them

You can attach up to four modules. Download the user manual from the site, it provides all the details and connection cable requirements. I run three pc4 modules for lighting, pumps and whatnot, and an SL1 (I think) for temperature control.

PC4 is 1 module with 4 outlets.

You can connect 4 pc4s which will give 16 controleble outlets to RKL if you want. But not more. If you need more you have to upgrade to RKE. Then you can connect a lot more.
