Female clown killing male
After 2+ years together, bought as bonded pair, my female Perc is relentlessly chasing and nipping at my male.

Have they laid eggs before? The first few times my pair did, she was pretty nasty. It's like she was trying to "train" him. If you could catch one and separate them, it may start again when you put them back together, but no real way to know. I turned my lights off, but it really didn't help. Tell me your reason for having them. Are you wanting to breed them?

Maybe give him his own anemone at the opposite end of the tank?

Maybe he isn't all that she was expecting him to be?

I have had females behave aggressively toward their partner briefly but it was mostly to show whose the boss. If this is truly relentless then you should probably separate them before the male is killed.

Has long as she isn’t doing any damage to the male it should settle down.

It only lasted a day or two and they are once again best buds.
