Please help ID my hermit

Hi all
I ordered a bunch a coral frags and an electric blue hermit crab the other day.... I received them but the crab wasn't an electric blue.... it is a huge crab that has orange and black bands..... I contacted the company I ordered from they said it was a Halloween crab, but doesnt look like the ones I see online.... has very big black and orange bands. Ill try to take a pic but he stays in his shell all day and only find him in different spots when I wake up.
As always thanks..

If you want to get pictures of him flip his shell over on its back so he has to stretch way out of it to flip back over. Some will do it while youre still holding them even.

Halloween hermits are definitely bigger, and orange and black striped.

Your pic is definitely (what I know of as) a Halloween hermit crab.

There is an electric orange hermit crab almost identical to the electric blue except for color.

That may be what you are seeing listed as a Halloween hermit crab.

The Halloween hermit crab takes a noticeably different empty shell than the other hermit crabs.
See if you can find some locally for future molts.
