Spots on Hammer Coral

Hi guys during my daily watch on the corals, I saw these spots on my hammer. Question is what are they, should I be worried, friend or foe?

Hmm, whose eggs? I'm not sure Corals lay eggs.

Yes, they actually do spawn. Very rare in our tanks though. Google “euphyllia spawn” and a few pics should pop up

You are right, I just saw the video. That's such an awesome thing to be a part of...another reason I love this hobby. So much goodies...next question, will this process be bad on my water parameters?
