Pederson, Fire, and Skunk cleaner shrimp compatibility
Tank is 298 gallons stocked from a previously established 210 which housed 2 fire shrimp and 2 skunk cleaner shrimp (originally started as 4). Although this foursome gets along well, I have been unable to add peppermint shrimp or another pair of skunk shrimp to the tank. I had two pairs of skunks and a pair of Fire shrimp for years I never a prior 125 setup, but this current foursome seems to be quite territorial in eliminating other shrimp interlopers.
I've wanted to add a pair of Pederson's shrimp, but fear they will meet the same fate. Does anyone have experience keeping Pederson's shrimp with other cleaner species? |

If shrimp have the territory (enough caves and overhangs to themselves) they may be fine as long as they don't clash.
I wouldn't do it unless all the pairs were added at the same time so theres even territory ground, cause while the others search for their homes they likely will be seen as "new comer threats" and attacked, rather then neighbors. Fire shrimp when established can be very territorial. Peppermints I never experienced lasting long and I never owned pederson yet, so I can't give personal thoughts on their compatibility.
