Yes continue use of Reef Mineral salt at normal dose with respect to amount of Component 2(alk). You can temporarily stop dosing or mix your powders with less concentration and allow them to naturally fall, assuming you mix your own. I have actually done this as I had an error in test kits where I manually dosed to increase both alk and ca. The result was very high values. I continued to mix Component 1 with less ca and mg, and have allowed the values to fall over the last 2 times mixing. I am very close to proper values in relation to alk, and can see that eventually the AF recipe will be spot on for dosing all 3 linear. Nothing good comes quickly in the hobby, and this approach that I took is subtle, and slow, but no ill response from corals. Maintaining stable Alk is key Cheers

Correction! I meant manually dosed ca and mg, not alk... I use alk to determine set point for the other 2 components. Sorry for any confusion
