A sad farewell
Id like to thank everyone for their advice on here. Its been really useful and saved me quite a b it of cash.
Unfortunately, I had a baby a while ago and the balancing act got hard to keep up, tank had to go last night. Very sad day. Thankfully, I have some connections to the chap who has bought my tank so may still see my fish and also have a chance to ensure they flourish. Going to a better home as they say. (no more will they have a 9 month old smashing the cabinet below them) Can someone let me know when they figure out reef keeping to be 100% maintenance free Im sure we'll speak in the future.

Be well. I sold my 90g reef with my house in 1997 and didn’t get back into hobby until 2016. Another 20 years and everyone will have virtual reality reefs.

Sorry to hear, all good things must come to an end. For what it's worth, take comfort knowing that you have your priorities in the right order.
I do feel your pain, similar situation with me... Wife said it's either her or the tank. Man I sure do miss the way she used to cook and clean!
