Found this today which I've never seen before in the tank.

Looks like a cowrie shell. Usually their mantle covers the shell. Can’t tell from the pic if it is alive or not.

Noticed a slight change In appearance today.

That's the mantle that they extend over the shell, usually when they're on the move. You're one lucky duck to get that critter as a hitch hiker, they're truly great algae eaters
