Marine velvet disappeared

Hi refers
I was battling with velvet for 3 weeks and half of my fish stock died
When this start I was hoping that’s ich but after seeing my powder tang with thousand white spots and hiding from light, i was positive it’s velvet
About 12 fishes died in no less then a week
My DT has so many caves and was impossible to get the fishes out to QT, I as going to wait until they all gone, Sad but couldn’t do different way
Mid time had hair algae outbreak and was dosing phosphate RX
Two weeks pass and no other fish died they all lost spots and look happy and healthy, eating like crazy and swimming all over the tank

I’m really confused why velvet stoped, could be the RX dosing?

Anybody has similar situation?

Thanks in advance

Mike

I have never had such a thing
Unfortunately, I do not have any special ideas how to help in this situation.
