Pin tail wrasse

I just received my pin tail wrasse. Is this sub male? Or female?

Yeah only turning supermale if presence of other fairies and if it’s the dominant wrasse in there

Best of luck. I’ve been unlucky with them. I think cyanide in a lot of cases. Doing fine in QT no, issues then one morning dead after close to a month. Couple others that made it through QT just withered away and died despite PP treatments and General cure treatments

That’s the first time I heard about it for pintail wrasse. Some divers use cyanide in Philippines, but I thought it is getting less. Hope mine is not the case.

These come from the Philippines. Yes, supposedly getting better but still happens a lot
