Thanks, buddy. Glad you got to see the amazing pictures too. It looks like I need to find a new photo hosting provider now.

Photobucket blocks all third-party hosted images now, and charges members $399 per year to unlock the previously free feature.

If you go into advanced here in each post, you have an option to upload pictures ras attachments. Just make sure the max width and height of your pics do not exceed 1024pixels. After uploading, then display what you uploaded in a separate tab. Now copy the link from that new tab. Select new image and paste the link in that field and you are done. It's one stop shopping!

Update: All previous pictures/images previously lost have been completely restored throughout my entire build thread. It took me a long time to fix!

You can only edit existing posts for a short time after you initially create them on RC. After that you are locked out from making changes. (I hate this.)

Dave.M is right. You can't go back and edit your old posts. This idea only helps you going forward. If you want to repost the photos off your hard drive, this will work. You probably don't even need to add back the original text as people will figure it out. They mostly like pictures anyway.

BTW, I now post photos using the method I described to you because I've been stuck of the very same issue you are in. Uploading pictures right to RC insures that the photos will most likely stay there.

The downside of RK64's method is that: a. RC is very slow to show images, b. RC only displays a very small version of your image, and c. only those logged in to RC can see these images. Lurkers and browsers can't see them and are thus not attracted to your thread.

Thank you, Dave! I appreciate your help and advice. I will update my build thread when I switch to a new image hosting provider.

I've seen this tank in person, and it is amazing. I almost ordered a Reefsavvy tank before I had GEO build mine. The wait was like 6 months but I now see why. They are works of art.
