Ooooo! Pretty.
I'll try to get a shot of my meleagris pair tomorrow. They're already under the sand for the night. Good topic!

Are those females both in the same tank? How long have you had them? What do they eat mostly for you? Do they have a boyfriend?
Cheers.

Female M. Meleagris, I've had her for about a year now. She eats anything that hits the water.

one I used to have. He is still alive......just in someone elses tank.
One of the few supposed "sand mandatory" wrasses I couldnt prove wrong. I gave him about 4 weeks when I changed my last dsb tank tank over to BB and it just wasnt going to end up ok......so I re-homed him. Prolly the only case of fish depression I ever witnessed. He swam around visibly depressed, he wouldnt eat and it wasnt going to get any better

wow, I had to go in the waay back machine to actually find a pic of mine.. This is the fish that somehow got out of my sump and in to the main tank while it was cycling.. (best guess is swimming up the skimmer return and somehow jumping from the overflow to the tank..)
Still cruising around.. did not like losing its sand bed but he found a spot finally..

Actually, kinda sketchy, but the leopard was the ONE fish that moved to fast for Renee to photo "properly". Admittedly, those shots were taken three cameras ago and Renee's technique is better now.
She was indeed one of our fave fish, and she only cost me $10!
