Internal skimmer suggestions for IM Nuvo 20

I have*been looking at build threads of users with this tank and I see a mix of no skimmer, Ghost Skimmer (pretty universally*poorly reviewed), and the IM Nuvoskim (out of stock everywhere I've checked).*
*
Is there a well loved alternative that I may be missing? Is it a nonessential part of a 20G AIO?
*
Thanks!

I’m building the same setup. I’m going with the IM Nuvoskim DC. I ordered it two days ago on Bulkreefsupply.com. You could check there.

Go to Marinedepot and check out the air stone glass skimmers, they would work great for your setup.

I had the same tank and used the ghost skimmer... it worked great for me.

I second the air stone skimmer. I have a couple Mames and they outperform all the nano skimmers I have tried.
