my experience was brief after my friend told me how fast it grew i had to give it away.

I have. Nice species, requires nutrients and bright lighting. Never known it to grow very quickly, certainly not as fast as caulerpa ot similar species.

I had some awhile back, grew like it was trying to take over the house. At least until I pruned it back and it crashed.

my friend had it under t5's. it grew like mad for him. he couldn't get his sps to keep up w/ this algae.

I wonder how he got it to grow so fast? Do you know what species of padina, or do you have a pic? The stuff I had never really grew to fast, maybe a new leaf every month or so.
