What salt does everyone use?
I've been using Instant Ocean Reef Crystals for 3 years and was told Red Sea Coral Pro salt is the best.
What everyone using ?

I've been using it and might switch to regular RedSea due to high Alk, you'll get ~11 dkh. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

Lots of Tanks of the Month have run on Instant Ocean. I don't think any of the more common products are better than any other. You might find one that matches your target parameters better, though.

Currently I'm using Fritz and have really liked it. In the past, I've used almost brand at some point. I really enjoyed ESV's multi part salt. Takes a little more time and work but once you get your routine down, it's super easy. I'll probably switch back to it when this bucket runs out.

Kent marine. I like it because of the lower alk (8.5) and slightly buffered cal/mag.

Plain jane Instant Ocean.
Little muriatic acid to bring down the ALK, and just a slight bump in MAG does me just right. Why use the latest and supposed greatest when you could use a salt that been tried trued and tested for decades? Doesn't hurt its rather cheap.

Coral Life for over ten years. Reasonable price and lower alk( around 9dkh ) than RC or IO.

What do Mag and Calcium mix to? I like a tank at 8 Alk but could adjust Kalk and Ca reactor for a salt at 9 - I use AWC and 4 gallons per day
