I have noticed that my xenia stems have shrunk down in size. although they still pulse and look good I cant see the stems only the heads. when I first got the frag, the stem was longer. temperature is 75f, alk is 9 I am using led lighting. what else should I look at , or should I even worry. Thanks

Yup, agreed, trace nutrients are required for all corals
I keep nitrates between 2-5ppm and phosphate at .1 otherwise they shrink and die

60" X 24" X 24" from the Original Oceanic Aquariums in Dallas, Tx. The funny thing is if I ran my skimmer they would quit pulsing, so I ran it very little. Nitrates stayed around 2ppm.

maybe I should unplug my skimmer and see what happens, how would you raise those elements, should I add trace elements?

You should check both levels N and P first.
If lower than 2ppm nitrate and lower than 0.03 phosphate, you can simply feed a bit more
Also, softies like some iodide, 0,03 to 0.06 maintained
