I wouldn't say that nook

One thing for sure is if a tornado comes I've got a place to hide if I can keep the trailer from tilting and rolling down hill

The has not been a lot of reef in this thread but it is still one of the more entertaining build threads I've read!

I find myself wishing I lived near D smack to come drink a beer, talk reef, and pass out on that couch.

If your ever in the area hit me up and we'll tip a few back. Now the couch might cause some issues, that's my pass out spot

Reef talk will come and who knows when. First thing is to clean out the room where the tank is going and get to the floor.

I have been trying to find out specs on the beams under the trailer and I'm coming up with nothing. As it stands I'll be purchasing porch jacks and probably build a farme under the main tank

haha thanks for the invite.

I think some lally-columns and a frame under the tank would do the trick!

when are we bringing home the tank? why isn't your room cleaned yet? a picture of that tank should be in this thread by now or we all call BS.

P.S. cinder blocks are more common in your neighborhood and less likely to be stolen for scrap. I suggest a couple of borrowed floor jacks to set that spot of the trailer on cinder blocks. Problem solved expense avoided. Just throw the skirt back on and she'll be fine in the wind once you have water.

I'm not going to use a trailer to move it. Something from the roads could come up from the tires etc...and hit the tank

D'Smack luck only if you don't wrap the tank with moving blankets. I would do that if it was trailer or truck. But hey. Hell Ya Vic is involved! Lets rent a skid steer, cut a whole in the side of your place. Set that beauty right on the stand. Back troubles avoided. We are getting old you know.

Sheet metal screws and duct tape. No worries

No need to rent we have 2 at work. I have the fork attachment so we can just plow those through the front of the tank and lift it easy peasy! BAM there's more for the story! For an even better story we could put it in place without cutting a hole and just wham bam that tank through the wall and get to the drinking without all the work
