Hi everyone.
I have a 4 bulb hybrid running

Coral+
Blue+
LED
Blue+
Coral+

I was wondering if people have a mix on channels 1 and 2 like this or do you prefer having 2 blue+ on one channel and 2 coral+ on the other?

I thought it might be nice visually to ramp up an all blue+ channel first then bring on the Coral plus during the peak. But does this affect coverage?

Hope this makes sense.

Since you are in Kazakhstan I would recommend you touch base with your local dealer or distributor. I am unsure what version of the fixture is available on your country.

Hello Matt!

Actually you don't need an app at all! The software you found is for the non wifi Powermodules when using the USB Cable. For the Powermodule you just use your browser.

I just received two 48" powermodules for my 360 gallon build. These are beautifully built lights!

I'm excited to get these setup!

Just received my 6x54W + 3x led module, WIFI version. Sorry for the bad pic

First impressions: Solid construction and power supply, only some (very small) dents in reflectors, which by the way look amazing. Packaging subpar. Apart from that I like the programming, it has way more options compared to my old maxspect. Only thing that bothers me is that it only has 2 channels for the T5, one for 4 bulbs and one for 2. At least 3 channels would have been nice.
Not sure yet about the final bulb configuration, for now I'll try 3x blue+, 1x purple+, 1x coral+ and 1 true actinic. I can't test it yet, still need to find a solution for mounting, can't hang it unfortunately.

Hi all,
This si my new 4x75 + 6x80 powermodule.
Very well done.
It was a bit hard to add it to my home Wi-Fi network but it is done, so now i don’t need anymore to disconnet from my home network to program it.

Got my light up and running. Pretty sweet light. I love the build quality and quality of the light. Still need to dial it in a little more, but definitely a big improvement over my Tek Elite T5.

So. I want to make sure I don't fry my corals with too much light. I am using what I believe is a moderate mix. I am using my eyes to estimate the amount I had before. I don't have access to a par meter. I had an 8-54W all T5 Tek Elite fixture before this.

I have screenshots of the program and colour mix. I have 4 54W T5s. 2 Blue Plus and two Fiji Purple on the outside channels. As you can see I am using mostly blue, royal blue and violet for the LEDs. Start and end with no white. Add some white and more blue midday.

Thoughts?

Matt please be sure you do a proper burn in of your bulbs prior to dimming. T5's need to run at 100% for a minimum of 50 hours prior to being dimmed. If you fail to do this you will destroy the bulbs and likely have them fail in weeks not months.

How quiet or loud are the fans on the new Powermodule LED lights? Where can I find out specifications of these fixtures (weight, length of cord, etc.)?

the new fixture seems pretty darn quiet. I was working on the set up and didn't even realize they were all on. I wasn't more than a foot away.

Same with mine. It's mid-summer here so I assume they are running at full steam and it's barely audible from straight in front of the tank.

Oops just started a new thread didn’t realize this was here so I guess I’ll re-ask it here.

I’m looking at getting a powermodule but am just a bit confused. Can someone clarify if the WiFi version and non WiFi version have the same led clusters? On BRS the non-WiFi version is almost $300 less. I guess my next question would be if I do buy the non WiFi version and the clusters are different can I upgrade them at a later date?

Why wouldn't you just buy the new one? The wifi control is so much easier to work with and the cost and hassle of upgrading would be more than $300 in value. The new light is awesome

Orcus the SST V2 which is the previous generation has a different LED Cluster vs the WiFi version. The WiFi Powermodule has a UV where the RED used to be in the SST V2.

And as others have stated, sound is rarely ever a problem or complaint, unless the metal fan cover gets pressed in against the fan which can make a pretty awful sound.

Keith thank you for the reply. I was also looking a scratch and dent on the ati website. If I purchased that light how long does it take to ship out? I’m moving next Saturday and want to know where to ship it
