The reason the first baffle is under is to minimize bubbles from the drain

Have you used a roller mat before. I was thinking of one, but.... I don't know anyone who has used one.

Not yet. My tank is cycling now, so I don't much care about using a sock. I will start running the skimmer, Rollermat, and carbon after my cycle water change.

What I may start setting up after my canopy build is the Turf Scrubber. My Nitrate is already high from the cycle, and I have a bunch more ammonia to process before I'm calling my cycle done...

Several years underwater, no rust . Still need to change it one of these days.

i guess i can share my sump. this is under a innovative Marine 20gallon. prime HD and frag section instead of refugium/skimmer.
