Best goby for pistol

I have a Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp. What would be the best goby to get to pair up with this shrimp?

Hmm... I'd go with a Wheelers' or a Highfin, something smaller. Definitely not any of the watchman species, just the shrimpgobies.

Any goby is good. Watchman and shrimp gobies will pair with candy stripe without issue.

Dracula goby, watchman gobies, high fin goby, Orange stripe prawn goby, and yasha gobies to name a few are excellant pairs.

I have a yellow watchman goby with my candy stripe pistol for 5 years, they're a great match. There are more interesting gobies out there but the yellow watchman is still pretty.

my personal favorite is the Randall's goby (orange stripe prawn goby) but you really have a ton of choices. I would just take a look at all of the different ones to see which you like.

Yasha! I have a YWG/Tiger Pistol together & they have evicted any other goby or blenny I have tried adding to the tank. By evicted I mean a beat down lol.

I guess another question is what size tank is this in? I have a Randall's goby/tiger pistol in my 75g and they are out and visible all the time. I have a YWG/candy stripe pistol in the same tank (on the opposite side) and I rarely see them. I personally would go with a smaller goby like the Yasha (gorgeous fish) or hi-fin in a smaller tank myself for fear you would never see them in a larger tank.

60g cube. I'll look for a yasha or hi fin
