Adding pump in line with canister

I currently have a Marineland C-360 canister filter for filtering out debris along with chemipure and live rock chunks. I have recently attached a chiller inline after the canister and it cut the flow significantly. I'm wondering if attaching a mag drive pump somewhere in line going to be ok to increase the flow, or is having 2 pumps on the same hose line going to do some damage or weird things?

Would run your chiller on a separate pump or manifold line depending on how it is plumbed. I have similar chiller and flow is a lot lower required then a return/canister filter.
