Tank seal breaks

Well, disaster struck, tank seal broke on lower corner of tank. Water leaking out slowly. Have fish and coral in hospital tanks. Will take long time to establish tank again so thing about getting out of hobby. What have you done if you were ever in this situation?

I had it happen on a small tank. Much easier to deal with, but still pita.

Save as much water as possible from old tank when draining. Empty everything out into tubs, buckets, etc... Get new tank. Put it all into new tank. Hopefully no cycle.

It's a perfect time to upgrade! I just went through this, so I understand the process.

I'm sorry, I have been through this as well. Depending on where the leak is you might be able to patch it.

If you can keep the rocks wet you won't have to re-cycle the aquarium.

When it happened to me, I bought a new tank. I didn't want to chance a patch and another fail.

Sorry your going through it. In 18 years it's happened to me once.

This happened to us with a 45 JBJ. We had to buy a new tank and lost just about everything while in tubs. It sucked.
