Algae and a welcome home present
Just been away for Easter only to return to algae in an isolated area of the tank. Not happy but don’t understand why. I’m assuming this is nothing sinister with the bubbles on the end of the algae. Can I just use a brush to clean the rock it am I inviting trouble. IMG_2167.jpg

Some brushing might help. I'd probably try to remove as much of the alga as possible, to remove a bit of nutrients and possibly reduce the speed of any spreading, but I wouldn't worry very much about it.
