90 Gallon TruVu New Build 2017

Hey guys, just a quick introduction. I was in the hobby in the early 2000's for about 6-7 years. I had a couple nano tanks, a 125 gal reef and eventually a 100 gallon reef. Life happened, graduated college, got married and eventually had kids. The condo sold, a house was built and the tanks came down. I took a long break from reefing for nearly 10 years. I was cruising on the internet one day and saw a very clean tank for sale. Bought it to flip and cleaned it up. I talked my wife into letting me set it up after begging to teach our two kids (ages 4,7) about reefing. Shockingly, she agreed! I did a little research and decided to go with two Kessil 360WE, Apex classic controller, Jebao DC return pump, Eheim heater, Jebao wave maker, bubble magus doser, bubble magus nac 6 skimmer (came with it), and a DIY algae turf scrubber... Tank has now cycled and I have started adding various zoas and some of my livestock. Ill post pics of the process so far. Ill keep this thread going to watch the progression of the tank. Happy to be in the hobby again!!

Step 1 was cleaning this tank up with a vinegar bath and then I buffed it

loving your tank. i was planning on getting a TruVu 150 after my 30 was completely wiped of life during a recent pwoer outage at my house. hows the build quality on that brand of a tank? im coming from a 30 gallon seaclear which to me are pretty decent tanks.
