Zoanthids growing oddly

Hello!

I bought these more expensive Zoanthids about 45 days ago and was told they originated from the Philippines. As they have grown, I have noticed longer appendages around the circumference of the coral. Recently it almost seems like they are opening slightly incompletely not forming a flush colony. Do you think this is normal? If not, what would cause this? They have definitely been growing and seem to have maintained their color. It may be just me watching them too closely. Haha

They are in my 20 gallon reef with mostly other Zoanthids some hammer coral and Galexia. I am using an AI prime. Calcium levels are a touch high but everything else is on point.

Also, does anyone have an idea of genus and species? The color in the picture is not great. They are mostly orange with a bright green linear center.

with the deep red disc and florescent mouth they look like they could be a variety of people eater palythoa to me. they appear to be growing normally but as you mentioned it could be the photo isn't telling the entire story.

I don't see any grainy stalks on them that would indicate paly...looks like a nice zoa...though it does have the typical PE green mouth.

I saw some of these last night at the lfs and the guy told me they were people eaters. He wasnt sure if they were zoanthids or palys. They seemed to have longer stalks than palys so I decided against them. Im hoping he has these when I go back cause he told me I could have the frag for $15 it had 7 nice polyps on it.

I don't think stalk length has anything to do with type, more so if it is reaching for light...palys have a very distinct calcified grainy texture to thier stalks...where as zoas have nice smooth stalks
