Dual Overflow Plumbing Help Needed
I have a 125g RR with dual overflows currently plumbed with Dursos. I want to upgrade to Herbie or Bean. My issue is that my tank is slightly off level. My left overflow is slightly higher and thus slower draining than the right overflow which is the lower side. I was thinking of two options: 1. Two separate Herbie setups with a siphon and E drain in each overflow regulated with a gate valve under each siphon. Return up over back of tank or 2. Siphon and E drain in right overflow and E drain and Return in left overflow due to the off level issue. Which setup would be better? Or any other ideas? I run a Vectra L1 for the return. Thanks for your help.

Dual Herbies, return over the back. Can take quite a bit of fine tuning to get dead silent but eventually I got there.

A Bean system is "better," but isn't easily obtained, in this case. You would have to cut out the RR stuff and drill more holes.
So, you have listed 2 options for a Herbie type drain system. I would also vote for option one, using 2 Herbie drain systems. The video mcgyvr linked shows dual Herbies in action. The tank not being perfectly level won't cause problems in your drain system...at all.
