Hello everyone. Looks like fall is on us so let's have some major fun. We have a lot of ground to cover so I will get right to it:

FRAG SWAP SATURDAY 11/14!
We do this to thank and support our local hobbyists. Its a way to give back all that you do for us. We are looking to make this one bigger and better than ever. Monster Raffles! Huge discounts on livestock and drygoods. We are working on a couple guest speakers. FREE FOOD and DRINK. As always we will supply lunch. If you would like to sign up to set up a tank please do so ASAP. We have the ability to get some extra space next door and will do so if the response is huge and we already have a bunch of interest. If you are coming from far away it will be worth the trip. Never before seen deals and one of a kind livestock. Stay tuned for more details.

Hey cully what time does it start and stop? As usual I'm working that day but am gonna beg and plead to leave early or try to switch shifts someone. It's been too long since I stopped in there. The last time was when you and I met up for the 70's hookup lol

Bump.

If you're planning on setting up a tank, call up and get yourself a spot. Some familiar names on the list already.

Hey guys, thus is from ABC
Mods any violations let me know!
Thanks

Hello everyone. Just a little over a week left and the swap is shaping up nicely. We have 15 local hobbyists signed up to set-up. One of the biggest turn outs yet. Just as a reminder:

FRAG SWAP 11/14 9am-???
If you want to get in on the fun and set-up a tank please give me a call 315-481-0730 or respond to this email.
See attached picture below for one of many raffle prizes. Reef Brite will be in the house (see below) and will be supplying a raffle item as well. Our friends at Fritz Zyme will also be supplying some product for raffle and to try out. http://www.fritzzyme.com/ As always all proceeds will go to support out local zoo: Rosamond Gifford Zoo. http://www.rosamondgiffordzoo.org/

Special guests: We have the honor of having a couple of special guests for the swap. As we have these events to not only support or LOCAL HOBBYISTS we also would like them to be informative.
Steve Lowes, Ph.D. Owner of Cayuga Aquatics will be in attendance. If you have not come across one of his custom crafted reef aquariums you really need to search some out. He is always on the cutting edge of the newest reef technology and is a huge supporter of aquacultured livestock. Check out his website:
http://www.cayugaaquatics.com/ or swing into his show room to check out his designs. Beautiful.
Tullio Dellaquila Designer of the the Reef Brite line of aquarium lighting. http://www.reefbrite.com/ Straight from his Linked in Profile: Tullio Dell Aquila has spent two decades focusing on the importance of proper lighting techniques for aquarium and aquaculture use. His work is recognized globally and his dedication and continued work with high power full spectrum LED systems helped pave the way for today’s aquarium lighting products. He initially started out researching, testing, and developing products for various companies in our industry. Today Tullio spends most of his time developing and testing new lighting formats for various commercial industries as well as designing LED, metal halide and fluorescent based lighting systems for top companies in the aquarium and aquaculture trade. He will also be bring a TRUE UVa LED light for us to try out. We have been told it is spectacular.
He will also be supporting a new and exciting product Reef Bugs at the swap. Check them out. We have had a number of extremely positive reviews.
https://www.facebook.com/ReefBugs-15...44352/?fref=ts

We will of course be supplying FREE LUNCH for all in attendance. Courtesy of TWIN TREES 57 http://www.twintreespizza.com/ordereze/1000/Page.aspx. Arguably the hands down best pizza in Syracuse. There will be a few other snacks as well.

We will personally be hitting up to 6 wholesalers in then next week to make sure everyone finds something cool to look at. So please swing by and support your local hobbyists. Enjoy the HUGE LIVESTOCK and DRY GOODS discounts. Grab a bite to eat and pick the minds of a couple of the most forward thinking aquarium experts in the field. Sounds like a fun day. Raffle item below. More to come.

As a side note: keep an eye out for the stonefish we have in stock SUPER cool but make sure not to walk in the tanks as they are deadly. Our Ward's WOBBYGONG shark is being hand fed frozen food and they stay nice and "small". For another Gem to view swing up to the Zoo and check out their latest exhibit of Flamboyant Cuttlefish. Crazy awesome.
Hope to see everyone soon.

Is there a coral swap thread or do most folks just set up frag tanks?

This is pretty much the thread, but you can post what you are looking for, or what you are selling. Some people would deal here via PM, or hold frags if requested. Depends on the person. Aside from all the hobbyist tanks (me included ), the store has a great selection and some crazy deals for the sale!

I just moved up here from Pittsburgh and was hoping that there was an active community, so excited to have found this thread!

This may be a silly question but where is this event going to be? Just wanted to ask now so I go to the right place.

Looking forward to this. Been a while since I've been to a local frag swap. I know this one has been gaining traction and reputation for some time so keen to meet new and old friends there.

I can supply blue milli and pink birdsnest as fresh cut frag. Tell me what you want to pay and I'll harvest accordingly.
