They like food, definitely not a clean water coral.

I’ve got mine on the sandbed not in direct flow. The polyps are HUGE!

I feed mysis 3ish times a week, but have cut back on feeding to see what would happen. No changes so far, haven’t target fed in two days.

The cleaning shrimp take the food before they even start to grab it.
Not sure what to do with him

Take a water bottle and cut off the top third and use it as a barrier so the shrimp can’t get to the food!

Three weeks is not very long, give it some time. I turn off all my pumps and broadcast feed the whole tanks with reef roids and decapsulated brine. That way everyone gets enough.

I keep mine under undetectable levels of phosphate (with hanna URL) and 1ppm nitrate that is kept there by dosing. I rarely target feed it. It happy and growing. They can definitely be kept in clean water.

I stand corrected. My SPS and LPS love .08 Phosphates and 2 to 5 ppm nitrates. I tried the low phosphates / nitrates and my growth and color was not as good as the elevated numbers.

Your nutrient numbers are excellent IMO, I use the same!
