Candy cane coral
Hi guys,
I got my new Candy cane on the sand bed for 3 weeks, dosn't look like he is happy in this location. he is getting good light at him, modern water flow. any suggestions for location? |

I’ve got mine on the sandbed not in direct flow. The polyps are HUGE!
I feed mysis 3ish times a week, but have cut back on feeding to see what would happen. No changes so far, haven’t target fed in two days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Three weeks is not very long, give it some time. I turn off all my pumps and broadcast feed the whole tanks with reef roids and decapsulated brine. That way everyone gets enough.

I stand corrected. My SPS and LPS love .08 Phosphates and 2 to 5 ppm nitrates. I tried the low phosphates / nitrates and my growth and color was not as good as the elevated numbers.

Probably about 3-40years, bu, about 1.5 years ago it was this size and I fragit up and sold to my LFS, so it has regrown.
