Exclamation Anemones fight ring!

Hello!

Could anyone please share experiences about two different species anemones getting too close to each other?

A couple of days ago my green carpet anemone started moving and got to a place where its touching a BTA.

Both of them are not fully expanding and seem stressed.

I actually tried to remove the carpet but wasn't able to, since it retracted to the sandbed below a large rock, being almost impossible to take It out in a safe way.

Here's a nice but troubling picture.

Could this be a fight to the death or will one of them move to avoid confrontation?

I have a LTA that came to contact with my BTA. They didn't like it; you could see the tentacles retracted on both of them where it touched. The BTA moved so they are not touching anymore. I have a carpet as well but very small and hasn't come into contact with the BTA or LTA yet but I am sure the carpet has stronger sting at least for me. You could coax the BTA to move by directing a small return pump discharge at its base or rub ice cube at its base.
