LIRA Family Fun Day Aug 4th 2018

Hi Everyone,

The Long Island Reef Association (LIRA) annual Family Fun Day will be on Saturday Aug 4th 2018 at the Long Island Aquarium.

Long Island Aquarium
431 E Main St, Riverhead, New York 11901

In an effort to keep things running smoothly please note the following:

The event is free to all members, membership must be current and we will not accept renewals at the event.
Family memberships only include member, spouse and children under 18; children over 18 will either need their own membership or pay the non-member admission.
Non-members will get a reduced admission of $15 per person.
Birds and Butterflies exhibit is included.
Behind the scenes tours will only be between 11:00 and 12:00.
Meet and greet with one of the Penguins will be held at noon.
Lunch will not be include but the cafeteria will be open.
Aquarium hours are 10A to 5P.
We will be checking people in only until noon (12pm), after that you will need to pay the full admission price to gain entry; non members who paid can use the PayPal receipt for admission.

Even though this is a free event for members we are still asking people to RSVP by July 28th with the following information; member name and how many guests, how many for the behind the scenes tour, how many for the penguin exhibit.

We need everyone who plans to attend to RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Reminder, the 2018 Long Island Reef Association Family Fun Day at the Long Island Aquarium is on Saturday, August 4th, 2018.

Admission to the Aquarium is free for LIRA Members and Family (with family membership), but you must RSVP in advance, either using this Facebook event (https://www.facebook.com/events/369489463575738/), by sending an email to the club at webmaster2@longislandreef.org, or making a post on the club Forum page on ReefCentral (http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=2679194).

Since child has been mentioned, we adhere to aquarium rules -- meaning children over 3 as a guest pay the entrance fee too.
