Epsom salt treatment for bloated goby

My orange spotted goby has became quite bloated over the past couple of months, and im thinking of trying to treat the tank with epsom salt to maybe see if it's constipation. But im worried of harming the tank. Is epsom salt safe for a reef? Really dont wana harm my urchin or other inverts... I also dont have a magnesium test right now (It's like 2 years outdated)

I have had him for 6 years now and he was basically full grown when i got him, and there is no way im getting him into a qt tank, so really not sure if it's worth trying to save him or if this is just old fish getting old
