Has anyone used these quilt battings?

I'm switching my mechanical filtration and am going to use quilt batting. I'm looking at two different ones which seem to be identical, same company but different packaging and one has actual reviews where people state they use it for aquariums while the other does not. Have any of you used any of these for filtration and can confirm that they are both good to go? Thanks.

I’d be really worried of flame retardants and similar chemicals that could be leached into your system.

No flame retardants or chemicals in these fabrics, just 100% polyester. I've been using air conditioning filters from a local shop @ 30 cents a square foot which were exactly what the fish stores sold as filter pads but charged 4x the price, unfortunately they closed.

I have been working my way through a XL bag of polyesterpiloow stuffing(the first link) for about 10 years. It's my 3rd or 4th bag. Use once and junk it.

I think the blanket batting is different - if you look in the description it looks like it's a large piece rather than a bagful of loose polyfil

I have the stuff in the first link. Still working my way through a bag I bought 2 years ago.

The second link looks more like it's like mats, rather then just stuffing.
