what to get neon gobies to eat at first?

Hi
I never had a issue with neon gobies. I have a few in my tank doing great. I've had them in the past also no issues with them eating.
BUT I had a pair of yellow lines that I cant get to eat after 3 days. They are now in a fish breeder trap (course mesh sides). They are in there b/c they were getting beat up by the slightly larger blue neons in the tank (110 gallon). They have yet to eat. I been trying small hikari mysis (which the others love), roggers reef food (frozen) (ther others love) and various flake (same thing lol). I put some chaeto in there from the 'fuge, in hopes of some pods, though I dont see any even though I have a huge pod popuation.
Anything tiny I put in the trap will just fall through the mesh, though the gobies will of course see it pass by their heads.

Any ideas?
TY!
