Clam torn
Hello,
Im new to clams and mine seems to have a part of it "torn", please see pics at the right side of the clam, Im not sure if its okay or its bad ?? |

Can you circle or put an arrow on the pic as to what you are referring to as torn? I see the intake siphon but the tear isn't jumping out at me.

Through the torn I can see inside which seems to be the shell side which have nothing.

Ya, I think that is your intake siphon. Does it look similar to the attached?

yes, that is an intake siphon.
do you have the clam on its side on the bottom of the tank? that looks like a crocea clam. they need to be high up in the rockwork with the mantel facing up, close to the lights. they require an absurd about of light energy, and will likely die if left deep in the tank on its side.
