Zoas slowly dieng off
Hey guys i could use some help starting sometime last week my zoas in my frag tank have slowly been closing up and developing this brown film which is eventually killing them. I have tried dipping in Revive, Peroxide and even a lights out thinking maybe it was cyano or something but it hasn't help. Here is a pic of one of the colonies you can clearly see the brown on them. I have been blasting them with a turkey baster on a regular to keep the detritus off them. Any ideas what i could do would be great!

I had zoa nudibranchs and it made them close up a lot. I dipped them on 50 ml of bayer with 250 ml of tank water. Let it sit for 15 mins rinsed off in two separate ro containers and then 5 minutes in tank water. They look better then ever now.

I checked for nudi's but didn't see any. I'm kinda thinking the brown on the zoas is dino's which was my fear to begin with considering there is no definite way to kill them just a bunch of maybes.

I lost a bunch of zoas and SPS due to dinos recently. Not fun. On the other big forum, the poster TWilliard has a big dino thread where some people have had success doing a diluted bleach dip. Sounds crazy I know, but results seem promising.

If it is dinos, sorry.....I had them about a year and tried everything! What I tried when they disappeared is a probable combination of 3 things, 1. I cut the feeding of tank drastically 2. reduced the photo period 3. began using VIBRANT Other people have tried it some with success some not just saying it worked with me. Good luck and God bless, Robert.
