Hydnophora. Comes in plating and encrusting varieties, and some of the plating types will grow like moose antlers (branching plates?) under higher/more turbulent flow and certain conditions.
Grows like a weed in the right conditions, medium flow and medium to medium high light are typical. It has very, very powerful stinging capabilities, and can have 6-9' sweeper tentacles, so give it room. One of my favorite corals by far though, few can match the fluorescent glow these get under nice light.

Thank you very much and yes he's colorful towards the base area but higher up he's brown. Have him rite at mid point and medium flow, he hasn't grown very much

Try feeding it some small food every few days for a few weeks. Last time around I had them it would grow much faster, and color up quickly when fed.
Also could try moving up to more light, depending on what setup you have.

It was a free gift and got tired of seeing just sit next to all my supplies. Went to move it the other day and found about 5 bristle worms underneath grasping to it. Made it easy to flush them down the sink. So I'm thinking now it's my bristle worm cather lol.
