Nitrates dosing

Hi guys some expert advice is needed ...
Long time ago
I was dosing nitrate
Today I saw this bottle of plant helper.. At the local green house

Is this safe to dose In The reeftank???

Can you give us some details on the product? There's food-grade sodium nitrate available on Amazon, or was. That should be fine.

It probably will be okay, but I'd probably try some reagent grade sodium nitrate, personally.

Some people also use stump remover which is Potassium Nitrate (KNO3), but the purity of those types of products are unknown. Pure sodium nitrate is probably a safer bet, just be careful when dosing.

Unfortunately the Stump remover here in Canada it's not sodium nitrate.. Can't find a pure one

Well, your first source might be okay, but I'd probably just try adding more food, personally. You might end up with a phosphate issue, but GFO can fix that. Or is the goal phosphate reduction?
