I'm running the 80, it covers a 24x24 just fine, to much par loss with the 120 IMO

I was able to get the light mounted and programmed a light cycle. I love how EcoSmart Live works but cant wait to get the Reef Link. This light is worth the money for anyone wondering if they should get one. I would love to try their freshwater version for my 240 discus tank.

Update,
I was able to get a lot done this week, I got my won brothers titanium heater and controller hooked up and wired. The controller install is something I rather forget about and act light it never happened, It was not easy to wire and install in the stand what so ever seeing that the tank is filled and the sump is in the way but the over all results I am vary satisfied with. I also am having the chaeto double in size so far. Just waiting for the cycle to finish I still dosing with ammonia and still have high nitrites and nitrates.

This setup is pimping! Waterfall idea with the rocks above water really adds another dimension. If only mangroves were not such big plants - I'd do a marine paludarium FOR SURE!

The Kessil grows cheato like crazy i cut it in half every 2 months. It also gives a nice back light at night.

So progress has been slow, My 240g discus tank has been needing most of my time due to a breeding pair that spawned, along with my new born baby girl! She is taking up most of my spare time but I still find time to do tank maintenance. I think the tank is starting to settle out and become more stable. I still need to get my protein skimmer and live stock. That will all come with time. The rock is getting some nice color and life, Coraline is starting and the exposed rock is starting to show some green and coraline algae. The equipment is great but need a ATO as soon as I get caught up.

p.s Dam pictures are upside down for some reason.

The mangroves came in last night. They all have 2+ leafs. Going to be interesting to watch them grow. I think once they fill in in the months coming it will look nice.

I went and picked up my clutch of clowns today I got 12 local reefer central member (Howard) out in NY. He has been breading them for the past year the mother was a black and white 3'' and the father a normal clown. Going to be interesting how they grow out. last picture is a top down shot of the mangroves.

Beautiful tank and I'd love to have something like that, those clowns are beautiful. I've never thought of a group of clowns but now I want one

I got the idea after seeing the bulk reef supply video of there harem tank. I needed some direction on what to do and coming from freshwater I always wanted a single species tank mixed with some inverts and corals.

Installed my new Bubble Magus Curve 5 last night. I think the tank really needed a skimmer, this morning I already have an 1/8 inch of skim mate in the cup. Anyone have any advice on when to introduce BTA's?
