What is the sign on left upper corner

Hi

I am new to this hobby what happen to my coral from last 2 days it’s forming white on the left upper corner and looks like it’s spreading

What is remedy. Any advice would be appreciated

When it was in the tank was it near any other corals? It almost looks like it came into contact with something else.

It was near torch coral

That's probably what did it.

Just find the coral a different spot well away from the torch coral and give it some time. Hopefully it will recover.

Torch corals pack a well-known powerful sting as a defense mechanism against corals,etc.. coming to close..
That can certainly cause what you see there..

Always important to research the corals you have so that you can avoid stuff like that in the future..
