I assume by 48 inches deep you mean high?? The current plan calls for 1 inch thickness for the tank and every time I look at your tank I keep thinking mine is too thin. yes I do have a team but I have NOT seen evidence of the level of professionalism demonstrated in your thread. I am insisting that the whole team follow your progress....... Finally, I can't believe the last set of images.....your progress is so inspirational. Peter |

Check out this tank for your reference: http://www.ultimatereef.com/TOTM/2007_jan/ I mean 48 inches deep not high. Yes, 1 inch thickness is too thin. I suggest you to raise your own build thread. People here is so knowledgeable and helpful. They will give your more idea and information.

Somebody messed around with webcam config.
Now it is already fixed. No need for username and password.

hi chingchai , i am a friend of matt whom came and visited you last month and he steered me to this thread . wonderful build ! my consern is with your sump and the spacing that lets the water flow from the socks back to the return pump(s) . i'm not sure on the amount of flow you plan on having but if that gap across is what looks to be 40 -60 cm you may find the water backing up on you and the pumps cavitating from not enough feed water . you may have to increase the gap or install a few 2" bulkheads further up to act as spill drains . good luck .

Thanks for your concern. I have three 2" outlet bulkheads and already try to run the system. So far everything is working smoothly.

I will never get used to the whole webcam thing. I love how I can hear a dog barking in real time on the other side of the world.

I love the fact it is night here and I can watch the tank in the daylight there!
Are you going to run multiple cameras? |

Sawasdee krup!
Amazing setup my friend, just amazing. One question, a while back you had mentioned this tank was not in your "living house," is this a office or something? Possible business write-off?? My wife is Thai and has family in Bangkok and we are planning a trip there next year, you will be getting a PM from us to come visit! HAHA!! (Not joking...) Keep up the amazing work! |

This house is located opposite my office. And it used to be a garage. You are welcome to see my tank. Just send me a PM.

If so, this program is not compatible with it.
