6105 compatible with 6095?

Hello, does the mini controller that comes with the 6105 capable of controlling a 6095?

There’s a slot on top of the controller and wondering if that is meant to control another power head.

The purpose of the port is to tether 2 controllers together, either 2 7090's and one can be run in slave mode, or a more advanced controller and bypassing the 7090. I have had people say they were able to run another pump from it, but that was not the intended purpose and the factory cautions that the older pump lack a protection circuitry to prevent a back feed of current that could ruin the controller and pump so they advise against it.

What is the definition of "older pump". How old? What's the difference between older and current?

Pre mid 2015, basically with controller is new, without is old. The circuitry changed to include many more safeties to protect the motor when the controller was added.

Can a 7096 work with a 7090?

Yes, but any of the older controllers require a calibration of the 7090 to work at lower speeds. The control voltage changed. 7097 and 7000 do not need this calibration-
