hoping its Coraline

Resized_20180322_130100_3262.jpgbeen in for a couple years and starting 2nd tank. i have never seen coraline start this way. can anybody validate? about 2 1/2 months in on this one.

Can it be removed easily with a toothbrush or even a turkey baster?

Green Coraline usually shows up in the darker parts of our tank. Purple coralline usually covers the brighter areas.
Beautiful frogspawn by the way. If your frogspawn is happy in that area I am guessing that it is too bright for green Coraline.
Pretty color! Ours is a dark olive green.

I don't think it's coralline. Sorry I have had dry rock with the same bright green algae. In fact, I have some right now!

You know, after looking at this thread in my phone instead of my laptop, the algae looks brighter than what I have. I guess it could be your lighting or something. I still don’t think it’s coralline just due to the growth pattern, but it’s cool looking none the less.

Thats just new algae growth on dry rock. Nothing to worry about.
