Care Package for a Vet

Im located in Connecticut, and would like to send a care package to a local (CT / NY / NJ / MA) service member (or two) as a way to thank you for your service. The contents of the package would be items which you could use in your tank. Everything would be brand new and absolutely free.

If you are in my AO and would like to get a care package, drop me a note by PM and tell me a little about your aquarium and your service. If there is something which you need for your tank, let me know, however I am not rich and wont be sending out Radions to you.

Note: Not that reefers are dishonest, but I will check your posting history in this forum to verify your service. Ill start sending packages as early as this week.

-john

This is very cool of you to do! I am a veteran and still serving. I am not in your AO nor do I need anything for my tank. I just wanted to say thank you for what you are doing and for your support!

Yes this is very awesome of you to something like this. I am veteran and don't have a tank atm but hoping to get one started in the near future. Just wanted to say thank you for doing this kind gesture for our troops.

I'm out in Oregon, spent 7 years in the army and just want to say thank you. I can luckily afford whatever but as a newer reef keeper, thank you VERY much for the offer. Instead, if you wanted to help me, you could hop over to my blog and offer some advice? Thanks again!

I would be all over your offer if I hadn't just completed my first build. Thank you for offering...it means a lot.

Didn't know they had a military thread this is cool! I'm also a veteran that served 4 years in the air force as military police...did 2 tours to Balad Iraq. Just want to say thank you for your support to the military! Not a lot of people take the time to actually appreciate us brothers except for the holidays...this means a lot to us, so again thank you!

I'm a Marine (05-10') out of FL and want to say the same as all of the other Veterans that posted. THANK YOU! It's nice knowing that there is support for our boys out there. This hobby definitely helps me with my service related issues and I'm sure the care package will help someone get started who can't afford it.
Thank you again Sir!
Sgt Pek.

8 years as a 3C0X1 (changed to 3D0X3 right before I got out) in the Air Force and now working as a Govt contractor. I think this is a GREAT idea.
