New 57g rimless build light question
Any recommendations for lights (led) soft coral in a DB 57g rimless? Not wanting to hang anything from the ceiling.
Thanks! |

Ouch... that’s annoying! How about a pair of Ecotech Radion XR15 Pros? if you’re going all softies, you won’t have to add any T5 supplementation. If that’s overkill budget wise, then perhaps a ReefBreeders Photon 32 V2+.

Another option that would work well for a softy tank that won’t break the bank would be a pair of Kessil a160s. You’ll get the best in terms of shimmer as well.

Lighting is a very situational choice so i will offer this:
I bought a pendant that needed to be hung so i went to home depot and found a 3/4" pipe. Then, in thestore, i found a pipe bender and put a 90* bend in the pipe with the bent end about 18" long. I use it to hang mypendant over my 58g, and have it attached to the back of my stand with a $2 bracket. I paint d it black and everyone thinks it is custom and expensive
