Hi FloformAustria
Can you tell us basic differences and observations from before as using T5 lighting and now with Ecotech radion LED? I am thinking for same change but I am still a bit confused with some users bad expericnce when changing lightening to LED. Have u any problems with cyano bafore and now? When you change lightening you have some acclimatization time between or not? How is your lightening schedule? |

Hi!
I did switch back from led to t5 over a month ago! Corals are looking way better! After the change I saw how strong the corals were shading themselves Look at the blue areas... I wouldn't recommend to switch from t5 to led... Especially if you are keeping acroporas I will update this thread soon with tons of pictures Flo

I am even more confused now Still right now you are back to T5+Led so corals and you more satisfied with this type of lightening? Still what was the main reason to change to LED and then back? Even as now I am using T5 I am thinking LED solution especcialy Radion gives user much more freedom about ligtening, settings and intensity of different area of spectrum. And I am sick of replacing T5 tubes every few months as when tubes are older that 7months cyano starts to grow etc. |

For acros the light of t5 bulbs is way better then the led with a certain lack in the spectrum
I thought the nice thing about the led was the possibilities in settings but that's one of the main problems... I'm going to run a Pacific Sun Hybrid and that's if you want something with led the best way Only led without the spectrum problem are the orphek

so itīs time for a little update!
since yesterday my new Pacific Sun Hyperion with 3x 75W LEDs and 8x 54W T5s is running over my tank. What can i say besides amazing fixture!? Really like the build quality and the it is so quiet! Since i made the switch back to T5s my corals are starting to color up nicely. even my Acans are getting prettier with every day!! So here are some pictures: Iīve been selling some LPS of the last weeks to make room for more SPS. My plan is to start using the Aquaforest products on my tank and make it more and more into an SPS tank. I moved my Acans down into the drop off so there is more room in the shallow area. hope that will work out the way i hope Flo

Tape measure, duck tape, power drill, and Tabasco sauce.... Not really sure I want to ask what you were doing, but it appears that you are prepared to get answer to some questions, whether or not they cooperate....
