13.5gal Fluval Sea Evo Nano

Let try this post again since I figured out the whole picture insert thing.

Moved to Columbus, Ohio about a year and a half ago. Decided to start another tank.

Purchased the 13.5 gal Fluval Evo Nano. In the picture I have 10 lbs of live sand. I just put another 10lbs in about an hour ago. So far, 6 lbs of live rock, I am planning on putting more live rock in but I want to be more selective on the the next couple pounds of live rock to build out the aquascape. I have 4 blue legged hermit crabs and 2 astrea snails.

I have an RO/DI filtration system, refractometer, tds 4 meter coming tomorrow. I learned the hard way with lifting three 5 gal buckets and pouring the water from the lfs. At the moment, I have a messed up LOL

Does any one know how hard it is to install the RO/DI filter?

Went to a lfs that I've never been to before. Picked up a few zoa frags.

Found a hitchhiker from the live rock... Can't get a better pic of it. If I see it again I'll post it.

I have mine mounted to the wall in the wash room. Water is supplied by cold water line under the sink and the waste goes down the sink drain. Some don't permanently mount their systems It all depends on your situation

Added another couple pounds of live rock up to around 8 lbs and a Mexican turbo snail.

My ro/di filter came today. I'm going to attempt to install it. Wish me luck lol

Updated pics

I've added a peppermint shrimp and a royal gramma.....the fish is camera shy at the moment
And a ricordea
I've never had a ricordea hopefully it will be an awesome addition. The lfs stated placing the ricordea on the sand bed but I've read on this forum that some attaches them to rocks. And benefit to attaching to rocks ?

nice lil tank. be carfeul not to move to fast tho. even with the LR there should be a cycle. I would watch your ammonia and Po4 levels closely and have some fresh RODO water on hand just in case you need to do a water change.

whats the lighting? I do like small tanks they can be fun. always a bigger the better guy but then I started a lil 20gal nano I am enjoying now I see why ppl do nanos.

keep us posted

The light is the stock lighting that came with the tank. I just added led blue strip because I didn't like how white the stock lighting is ... I'm planning on a new light fixture down the road.

be careful with that light and dont over power your corals.
IMHO that light is just to bulk for your nice lil system. but that just me what the hell do I know... was the light you had not working for you? was there a heat issue with the canopy?
