Nitrites won't go down!

My 60g tank has been set up a little over a month now, and I used KPaquatics' partially cured live rock (35 lbs of it). I also used 8 ounces of Dr. Tim's One & Only, which I've used on every tank I've ever set up. Every other tank I've set up for myself, or for someone else, I've always used Dr. Tim's & *live* rock, and for every tank I've been able to safely add a fish or 2 after a week, yet this tank is just taking forever to establish. Right now my nitrites are at about 0.05, and although they have shot down significantly since I tested originally, they've stayed at 0.05 for about 4-5 days now. This wouldn't be such an issue normally, but I have a zebra moray, kamohara blenny, and blood shrimp sitting in a small storage container, with an aerator (the batteries of which cost me $15 a week). What would you guys suggest? I'm not going to add animals until I know it's safe, but the water changes and weekly costs on this tub (as well as the space it takes up in my studio) are killing me Thanks guys

You'll just have to keep doing water changes. It is time consuming but not every expensive.

I currently do closet to a 15gallon water change,...every day. Takes me about 10 min.

Why use a battery operated aerator? Just use a mains powered air pump...

Having the fish in a partially cycled tank is better than having them in a sterile container, the ammonia build up between water changes in your storage container is worse for them than a little nitrite.

You could also try another bottle of live bacteria.

The container holds about 15g, and I have a HOB filter submerged with a filter pad I seeded in my 20g mantis tank for about 2-3 months, so the parameters stay fairly stable (I also used Dr. Tim's One & Only when I initially set it up). As far as adding another bottle of Dr. Tim's to the 60g, I've already used exactly double the recommended dose
