Barracuda Sump Pump Help

I was going to buy a sump pump from menards. It says for draining basements ect.. Is it safe for fish and saltwater????

Depends entirely on how it's made and what components are in contact with the water, i.e. are there any metal parts that are in contact with the water. What pump exactly are you looking to buy?
